First To Eleven Vienna Concert reviews
At least say the tickets were for standing space.
This event was something my husband and I had eagerly anticipated for a long time. We had bought the priciest tickets hoping for prime seats, but it turned out that the best available seats were standing space when we purchased the tickets on TicketMaster. If only we were 30 years younger and hadn't worked all day, this might have been more appealing. However, that night, it was not appealing to either of us. I suppose I'm just getting too old to stand in heels, with a purse slung over my shoulder, surrounded by strangers drinking copious amounts of alcohol. The standing area wasn't even near the stage. After waiting in another long line to exchange our tickets, we were seated in the faraway nose-bleed section, reminiscent of Yankee Stadium. First To Eleven looked like they were only 4 inches tall. Luckily, the monitors saved us from only seeing the drunk couple in front of us throughout the entire concert. According to the information I had, the doors opened late and the concert started about an hour behind schedule. The music was enjoyable, and singing along with the band was fun; however, I discovered that the best seats available meant standing on a concrete floor.
